Silk is Possibly the most beautiful, delicate, and lustrous material ever created.
Silk dates back thousands of years, and still to this day is highly regarded as one of the most valuable, luxurious fabrics. Even after all of those years, little has changed in the way silk is produced.
Despite advances in production method technologies, silk production still very much remains a labor-intensive process, and a lot of hard work is involved.
Tilla Embroidery
Tilla embroidery is one of the most celebrated Kashmiri handicrafts, where the silver, golden, or copper hues of Tilla (zari) threads run magically into the fabric and embellish it with royalty.
The legend has it that ‘Tilla Dozi’ was introduced by Shah-e-Hamadan, in a village called ‘Zari’, in Iran.
The traditional Tilla designs draw inspiration from the immense scenic beauty that has been bestowed on Kashmir and the Persian culture.
Paisley (Karrey or Buta), Lotus (Pamposh), Rose (Gulab), Almond (Badam), Maple leaves (Chinar), Vine (Dachh), Cypress (Sarav), Iris (Sosan), Hyacinth (Sumbal), Narcissus (Yambarzal), Pomegranate (Dainposh) and the abstract forms of birds, animals, humans are some of the most loved motifs, used in a million styles, patterns, and sizes with utmost finesse.

For stitched orders, your suit is fully lined for comfort, structure and a clean finish. It also includes two practical side pockets, one on each side.
Unstitched selections are supplied as fabric.

Our great-grandfather began working with Kashmir’s master craftsmen around 150 years ago, beginning a family relationship with Kashmiri craft that continues to this day.
Our Grand Father & his brothers
Peerzada Bashir-Ud-Din
Our grandfather, together with his brothers, carried the family’s work beyond Kashmir. They travelled across India, including Allahabad and Varanasi, introducing Kashmiri craftsmanship to customers far beyond the Valley and building relationships across the country.

Peerzada Naseer Ahmad
Our father and his brother worked alongside our grandfather from the ground up, helping shape every part of the business. They expanded manufacturing, built a strong wholesale presence in the local Kashmiri market, and established the family business as a trusted and respected name in Kashmir.

Master Embroidery Artisan
Zahoor Ahmad has worked with Kashmiri embroidery for over 35 years. His experience with pattern, colour and machine-assisted embroidery brings character to the garments created in our workshop.
Master Tailor
Noor Mohammad has worked with our family for nearly 40 years. For stitched orders, his tailoring brings careful attention to proportion, construction and fit.
From Fabric to Finished Suit
Each suit takes approximately 12–15 days to craft, with artisan-guided embroidery, thoughtful finishing and tailoring for stitched orders.
01 — Your Selection
Your fabric and finish are chosen from the available options, with measurements added for custom tailoring.
02 — The Design
The embroidery design is prepared, with attention to its placement across the fabric.
03 — Machine Embroidery
An experienced artisan guides the machine embroidery, building the pattern through thread, colour and detail.
04 — Your Chosen Finish
For stitched orders, the embroidered fabric is cut and tailored to your selected size or measurements. Unstitched orders remain as fabric.
05 — Carefully Finished
The embroidered fabric and any tailored seams are checked and prepared for packing.
06 — Packed in Kashmir
Your suit is packed with our complimentary finishing touches and dispatched with tracking.
