Our Story
Story of The Birth of Kashmkari, 150 Years Ago

Our Late great-grandfather Peerzada Saif-Ud-Din and his master craftsmen weaved the first piece of Kashmiri art around 150 years ago. We are preserving and spreading this heritage with indigenous artisanal handicrafts that speak to your soul.

I, Hamees, and my brother Noumaan represent the fourth generation of admirers and enthusiasts of this art. Over the years, our family has dedicated itself to crafting wonders for the world, preserving and reviving one of the richest art forms in the world.

Cultural Fusion in Kashmiri Art
The Blend Of Cultural Influences And Different Artforms

Each of our designs represents the beauty and essence of ethnic Kashmiri art. The art engulfs in itself the influences of British and European fashion, along with a representation of the countless changes this land has gone through.

Traditions of the hand ‘charka’, hand embroidery, yarn-making processes, and other gifts from our forefathers give each piece a unique look, feel, and story that you cannot ever get enough of!
