Our great-grandfather began working with Kashmir’s master craftsmen around 150 years ago, beginning a family relationship with Kashmiri craft that continues to this day.
Our Grand Father & his brothers
Peerzada Bashir-Ud-Din
Our grandfather, together with his brothers, carried the family’s work beyond Kashmir. They travelled across India, including Allahabad and Varanasi, introducing Kashmiri craftsmanship to customers far beyond the Valley and building relationships across the country.

Peerzada Naseer Ahmad
Our father and his brother worked alongside our grandfather from the ground up, helping shape every part of the business. They expanded manufacturing, built a strong wholesale presence in the local Kashmiri market, and established the family business as a trusted and respected name in Kashmir.

Noor Mohammad has worked with our family for nearly 40 years. He cuts and stitches each embroidered piece to your selected size or measurements, with close attention to proportion, construction and fit.

From fabric to final stitch
Careful hand embroidery, considered tailoring and a final inspection bring each jacket together.

The fabric and embroidery design are chosen as the starting point for the jacket.

The design is marked onto the fabric, giving the artisan a guide for the hand embroidery.

Kashmiri artisans work the motifs by hand, building their outlines, colour and finer details stitch by stitch.

The embroidered fabric is cut and stitched, bringing the jacket’s shape and fit together.

The jacket is carefully finished and pressed, ready for its final inspection.
